Unseen's Nether Backport brings Nether content from Minecraft 1.16 to 1.12.2, adding its biomes, creatures, blocks, items, and related mechanics. Explore the Basalt Deltas, Soul Sand Valleys, Warped Forests, and Crimson Forests, where features include basalt pillars, dense fungal trees, and ruined portals; Bastion Remnants also generate in the Nether. The additions include Piglins and Piglin Brutes, Hoglins, Striders, Zoglins, and Zombified Piglins, alongside Netherite gear, Ancient Debris, Blackstone, Basalt, Crimson and Warped wood, and Soul Fire blocks and lights. Piglins barter with players and can use crossbows with the relevant compatibility enabled, while Soul Speed lets players move faster across Soul Soil and Soul Sand. Lodestones can calibrate compasses to point to their location, and Respawn Anchors use Glowstone charges to set a respawn point in the Nether or End. The mod also adds basalt generators, Piglin bartering and biome ambience sounds, and configurable options for biome and structure generation, entity attributes, Piglin behavior, and loot tables. Optional compatibility with FutureMC avoids duplicated Netherite and other content, while integrations with Crossbows Backported and Spartan Weaponry enable Piglin weapon use.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 78 blocks, 15 items, 1 mob, 5 other entities, 1 enchantment, 47 recipes, 11 loot tables and 101 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
