    About

    Unusual Fish adds fictional fish and other aquatic creatures to aquatic biomes, along with gear, blocks, and foods built around them. Examples include Clownthorn Sharks, Sea Pancakes, Eyelash Fish, and Rhino Tetras, which can appear in places such as reefs, sandy ocean floors, and jungle rivers. Many creatures drop items when killed that can be cooked into fish fillets or used in unusual recipes, and the Unusual Catch enchantment lets a fishing rod catch these fish and other items. The creatures’ drops also support crafting, including sharp weapons and shell-shard blocksets from two breedable mobs; Sea Pancakes can be fed to obtain a rare weather shell. For underwater defenses and redstone utility, players can craft sea spine blocks and use a Volt Detector to sense nearby Volt Anglers, extending its detection range with a copper antenna placed on top.
