Wear villager costumes and take on their special abilities.

Village Employment lets players dress as villagers and other village-related characters through costumes for professions including armorer, butcher, cartographer, cleric, farmer, fisherman, fletcher, librarian, shepherd, weaponsmith, leatherworker, mason, toolsmith, and Wandering Trader, along with Iron Golem, Nitwit, Testificate, Evoker, Pillager, and Witch outfits. Most costumes are found in village chests, while the Wandering Trader costume comes from killing a Wandering Trader and the Iron Golem armor and Testificate outfits are craftable; Nitwit and Testificate outfits are cosmetic only. Many full costume sets grant character-specific abilities or villager-like traits: for example, the Wandering Trader outfit can turn its wearer invisible at night or when attacked if its gamerule is enabled, the Witch outfit protects against some negative potion effects, and the Evoker outfit can summon Evoker Fangs or a Vex. The craftable Iron Golem armor makes its wearer stronger but slows them down, while the Pillager Captain Flag transfers Bad Omen to the player or mob that kills its wearer. The mod also adds a Grass Path Slab for easier village paths, craftable Grass Path blocks, and a tool called Grunge and Sponge that switches vanilla decorative stone blocks between regular and mossy forms. An Orb of Dominance Staff can summon Illager minions to fight for the player, and striking those minions with the staff removes them.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 11 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
