About
Dungeons Mod expands Minecraft with challenging RPG-style bosses and dungeon exploration while aiming to retain the feel of vanilla play. Its bosses include the Deserted, Iron Slime, Kraken, the King, the Crawler, the Sun and the Void Master; it also features the Lord Skeleton and Winter Hunter as mini-bosses. The mod adds creatures with distinct roles and behaviors, including inventory-robbing Rogues, map-carrying Travelers who can be summoned at a campfire over Haycoal, block-phasing Haunters, tamable Crows that fight for you, and laboratory-owning Scientists with Slimewolf companions. Items add exploration and combat options: the Home Gem returns you to your bed, the Back Pergamine takes you to where you died, the Cloud Mount flies when powered by magical sands, and the Charge Launcher fires charged fireballs. Lore Books dropped by the Traveler offer hints for defeating bosses, while other additions include a 10-block-range Foreman Ore Detector, a Potion Straw that makes potion drinking instantaneous when held in the offhand, and blocks such as the Wardshiper, which guards an area from hostile mobs.
