About
Wandering Trapper adds a roaming fur trader and a furrier profession, creating a pelt-trading loop: buy pelts from the trapper for emeralds, then sell them to the furrier for emeralds. The trapper appears randomly in cold biomes with a wolf companion and sells beaver, mink, marten, fox, snow fox, and polar bear pelts; the polar bear pelt can also be placed as a rug. Fox, snow fox, and polar bear pelts can drop from their respective animals, with drop chances that improve as you kill more of them. Furriers use a pelt-scraping log as their job block and offer more emeralds for higher-quality pelts, including a premium price for mink pelts from master furriers. The trapper normally carries a bow, but with ewewukek’s musket mod installed he carries a musket and can release dogs when threatened.
