A modpack dedicated to ForgeLabs' video, “100 Days in the Alaskan Wilderness.”.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 106 graded mods, 83 are graded A or B, 22 C and 1 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Alaskan Wilderness is a modpack inspired by ForgeLabs’ “100 Days in the Alaskan Wilderness,” assembled to recreate the video’s setting and offer a similar survival experience; it is not an official ForgeLabs pack. Custom configuration and biome tweaks shape the world, and vanilla hostile mobs are removed. Survival includes food spoilage: store uncooked meat in a fridge to keep it from going bad, and cook meat to avoid the poisoning caused by eating it raw. Fridges require coal-powered generators, while making a campfire involves crafting a firestarter and combining sticks, logs, and plant string on the ground. The pack includes shader options and Distant Horizons for extended terrain viewing, though players can disable Distant Horizons if they prefer.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 2 Apr 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 1 Apr 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 106 of its 108 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (2 Apr 2025) in the 79 mods we checked.
3 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
21 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
