Survive a chaotic world full of quests, machines, magic, and dragons.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 158 graded mods, 116 are graded A or B, 20 C and 22 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Create in Chaos is a quest-driven survival modpack set in a bizarre, dangerous world, built to encourage players to explore Create-powered automation alongside magic, technology, and combat challenges. Its Chaotic Ultra Amplified Dimension generates a sprawling landscape of caverns, floating islands, shelves, and plateaus, inhabited by dragons and tough hostile mobs. Create is the pack’s central technology mod, joined by Tinkers’ Construct and systems such as Botania, Cyclic, Dark Utilities, and storage options including Cyclic, Reliquary, and Forbidden and Arcanus. Quests guide survival and hunting, with examples including hunts for witches, spiders, slimes, Endermen, Blazes, Withers, and Elder Guardians, as well as tasks involving Create materials such as andesite casing and chromatic compound. The pack is designed around challenging survival and exploration, with quest rewards that can include equipment, materials, and useful items such as night-vision potions.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 16 Aug 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 1 Oct 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 159 of its 160 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (16 Aug 2023) in the 123 mods we checked.
10 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
37 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
