A farming modpack with new crops, recipes, and building blocks.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 82 graded mods, 73 are graded A or B, 7 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 2.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.21. See the mods
DB's Farmtopia expands Minecraft's farming, cooking, building, decoration and storage with a collection of mods focused on life around a farm. Croptopia adds 58 crops, 26 harvestable trees and 250 foods, while Serene Seasons changes crop growth and the colours of grass and foliage throughout the year, with snow falling in every biome during winter. Right-click harvesting replants crops automatically, and animal feeding troughs can breed animals; chicken nests also collect eggs. Cooking for Blockheads adds kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, fridges, sinks, counters, toasters and cutting boards, with some cooking blocks preparing food quickly. For building and interiors, Macaw's mods add fences, doors, trapdoors and paths, Enchanted Vertical Slabs adds vertical slabs, and Handcrafted offers more than 250 furniture pieces, including beds, books, trophies, chairs and tables. Storage additions include chests and barrels in every wood type, compact storage with more capacity, and copper pipes for sorting and moving items. The pack also includes a character who sells seeds and other supplies.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21 · Fabric, 6 Oct 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 83 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 74 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 74 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
