Dungeons and Bosses is an adventure-focused modpack built around exploration, dungeon delving, and boss fights, adding new dimensions, mobs, structures, and special loot to explore. Its Overworld includes new animals, monster structures, bosses, and expanded archaeology, while the Nether brings new biomes, structures, bosses, and loot. The Aether adds floating islands, golden temples, and cloud paths guarded by foes including the Valkyrie Queen and Sun Spirit; Blue Skies offers the chilly Everbright and crimson Everdawn, with their own biomes, dungeons, bosses, and loot. In the Twilight Forest, adventurers explore ancient ruins, giant mazes, cursed castles, and overgrown dungeons, facing bosses such as the Naga, Twilight Lich, and Snow Queen as they progress into deeper areas. Additional cave and biome content includes the Aquamire ice biome with new structures and mobs, plus the Primordial, Magnetic, Forlorn Hollows, Abyssal Chasm, and Toxic caves.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 22 Feb 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 8 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 118 of its 119 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 110 of its 111 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 96 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
8 other mods show AI use only from after this release (22 Feb 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
15 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
