Explore dangerous dungeons, find treasure, and visit other dimensions.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 91 graded mods, 20 are graded A or B, 12 C and 59 D to F. Its last update came out 10.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Expedition is a modpack for long-running worlds, combining exploration, dungeon delving, resource gathering, and building with a broad mix of magic and technology. Custom world and ore generation changes how resources are found: players must explore caves and other depths rather than relying on a single shallow mining level. Dungeons offer optional but notably dangerous risk-and-reward challenges, with customized loot that includes items obtainable only by finding them, not crafting them. The pack integrates AgriCraft and Magical Crops into progression, using crop essences in some recipes and making seeds available through chests as well as ordinary acquisition. Its exploration content includes Chocolate Quest, Doomlike Dungeons, and Roguelike Dungeons, alongside the Twilight Forest and hazardous Nether and End dimensions. Outside exploration, the pack offers varied ways to develop a world through mods such as Botania, Thaumcraft, Applied Energistics 2, Immersive Engineering, and Mekanism.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 26 Mar 2016). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.

Compared with the release of 18 Dec 2015 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
A Warning in 1 mod
We checked 95 of its 96 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
A Warning is not proof of malware.
Wrong result? Tell us.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 95 of its 96 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 36 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
60 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
