Farming and collecting modpack inspired by Animal Crossing.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 89 graded mods, 27 are graded A or B, 18 C and 44 D to F. Its last update came out 5.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Farming Crossing is a farming, collecting, and decorating modpack inspired by Animal Crossing, built around completing quests to earn random furniture for decorating your tent and rooms. Alongside decorating, players can fish, farm, and mine; the pack includes seasonal changes, expanded crops and cooking through Pam’s HarvestCraft, and animal content from Animania. Emerald-based recipes let players buy items such as furniture loot chests, waystones, mending books, and bottles of enchanting, while furniture can also be duplicated and resold. The pack also supports selling meals and other items marked with an emerald sale value, connecting food production and collecting to its purchase-and-resale loop.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 28 Mar 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 15 Jan 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 92 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 91 of its 92 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 40 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
52 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
