See distant landscapes while exploring a familiar, vanilla-style world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 219 graded mods, 186 are graded A or B, 32 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 5 days ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
HORIZONS Beyond Your Eyes Unofficial is a vanilla-friendly modpack built around Distant Horizons, extending how far you can see across the world while keeping Minecraft’s familiar feel and adding visual and performance improvements. Its additions include Terralith biomes, dungeons and structures from When Dungeons Arise and Dungeons and Taverns, and the Herobrine encounter from From The Fog. AmbientSounds and Falling Leaves add atmospheric sound and environmental effects, while the pack is also presented as suitable for multiplayer.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 23 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 28 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked all 223 projects.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mod files are inside the pack file itself: all match a known file (
Antique Atlas 4,
Remove Stardust Labs Intro Message and
Surveyor Map Framework).
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 212 of its mods.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 15 of the 177 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
35 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
