Isla Unga Bunga is a deserted-island survival modpack based on Forge Labs’ “100 Days on a Deserted Island” video, intended to create a challenging tropical survival experience that can be played with its associated map or another map of your choice. You must contend with dangerous wildlife, including venomous rattlesnakes, as well as poachers, severe weather, storms, and survival needs such as maintaining homeostasis; storms can tear down a shelter you have built. The pack adds an early-game no-tree-punching feature and creatures through mods such as Animania, Better Animals Plus, Mo’ Creatures, and Zoo & Wild Animals Rebuilt. Its environment and survival additions include Biomes O’ Plenty, Dynamic Trees, Aquaculture 2, Tough As Nails, and Weather, Storms & Tornadoes, while Spartan Weaponry and Spartan Shields add weapon and shield options. Alongside the struggle to survive, you can build an island resort to create a tropical getaway.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 27 Nov 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 31 Oct 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 35 of its 37 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 19 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
18 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
