A horror world with scary creatures, eerie sounds, and tense survival.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 232 graded mods, 150 are graded A or B, 49 C and 33 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Moe's Spooky Jump-scare Simulator is a survival-horror modpack built around unsettling creatures, immersive sound and visual effects, and new movement. Survival means managing thirst, temperature, and oxygen, while food requires butchering animals and cutting up the meat. A work-in-progress quest book asks players to observe creatures to learn about them, and Tarot Cards found across the world can help strengthen the player. Exploration includes the dangerous Lost Cities dimension, where players can encounter the Corrupted Champion, and the Deep Dark receives additional content. The creature lineup includes the Man From the Fog and other dwellers, alongside new bosses to find and defeat.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 19 Jun 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 10 Jun 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 236 of its 239 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 227 of its 229 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (19 Jun 2024) in the 188 mods we checked.
10 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
41 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
