About
New Isles is a Minecraft adventure modpack built around a Viking-inspired world of dragons, exploration, and survival, with medieval-style textures and blocks shaping its look. Its world generation creates small islands and larger continents with varied biomes, villages, ships, and other structures to discover. Players can find, tame, train, and ride dragons, and can rescue captured dragons encountered aboard ships in the oceans. Exploration is supported by an atlas for recording the world and a backpack for carrying supplies, while ship encounters offer foes to fight and supplies to seize. The pack adds farming and animal husbandry, new fish species, keg-brewed beers, and a currency system for trading. Better Combat and additional weapons bring more tactical combat to battles across the islands.
