A horror survival pack with eerie creatures, strange sounds, and dark nights.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 76 graded mods, 49 are graded A or B, 13 C and 14 D to F. Its last update came out 3 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
OttoAdam2's Super Horrorpack is a horror-focused survival modpack built around exploring an unsafe world of unsettling sounds, mysterious abandoned structures, and dangerous creatures. Its named horrors include the Cryptid, the Growling Man, the Knocker, Revervox, the Boiled One, Twixxel's Stalker, and Siren Head, with other entities also lurking in the world. Optional quests offer goals and guidance through the pack's features, while leaving players free to build a base and pursue their own approach to survival. Nights can bring encounters that make simply sleeping through them uncertain, and exploring caves or venturing out after dark heightens the horror experience. For multiplayer, voice chat is recommended, particularly for experiencing Revervox; playing with friends offers a different feel from facing the pack alone. Players can choose shaders in the video settings to adjust the atmosphere.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 18 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 25 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 74 of its 76 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 67 of its 70 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 53 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
17 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
