Sophisticated Core is a shared library for Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated Storage, providing common upgrade and storage functionality rather than a broad set of player-facing content of its own. It supports upgrade behavior and rendering, sophisticated inventory handling, upgrade interfaces and related inventories, shared storage settings, and storage-stack contents in tooltips. Its shared stash logic can indicate when an item is present in a storage it can be stashed into, and it also includes experience-fluid functionality. The library helps the parent mods handle item transfers, filtered and oversized stacks, memorized slots, crafting and compacting recipes, and synchronized upgrade settings.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area, as a library other mods build on: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 3 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 2 items: Ender Linker and Bucket of Experience; 3 key bindings: Sort Storage/Backpack, Transfer to Inventory and Transfer to Storage; 4 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
sophisticatedcore-1.20.1-1.3.74.2216.jar, CurseForge sophisticatedcore-1.20.1-1.3.74.2216.jar. 1 class changed, in net.p3pp3rf1y.sophisticatedcore.mixin: MixinParrot. We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
GitHub Copilot (code review) and GitHub Copilot (coding agent) took part in its pull requests.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
