About
Packtrix is a preconfigured modpack that makes it straightforward to run the Patrix resource pack with connected textures, shader support, and performance features, while providing a base that players can extend with compatible mods. It includes Patrix’s free 32x pack, with its Basic, addon, and Models packs loaded and the Bonus pack included but not enabled; the resource pack covers blocks and items and recreates Patrix-style versions of mobs with custom animations. The bundled setup uses Continuity for connected textures and block-tint support for wool, terracotta, and concrete, alongside OptiFine-like features such as custom item and entity models and textures, dynamic lights, zoom, and connected grass. Iris and Sodium provide shader and rendering support, with included shader choices such as Complementary Reimagined, Photon, Bliss, and Shrimple configured for Patrix’s textures and effects. Additional optimizations target rendering, memory use, loading, and chunk processing, while the included shader settings offer visual options ranging from realistic lighting and volumetric effects to a more vanilla-style look.
