Quantus is a progression-focused modpack that guides players through eight eras, gradually unlocking mods so advanced automation and technology arrive only after players have developed their earlier capabilities. The Coal Era emphasizes building a base, gathering resources, and exploring the Nether, with additions such as Chisel, Chisels & Bits, Pam’s HarvestCraft, and ArchitectureCraft. In the Iron Era, players gain ore doubling, stronger tools, expanded storage through Iron Chests and Storage Drawers, and item transport with Hopper Ducts; Tinkers’ Construct adds another route for tool crafting. The Magic Era opens paths through Blood Magic, Botania, EvilCraft, Roots, and Psi, with players choosing between druidic and dark-magic approaches and building mob farms to support some of these systems. The Steel Era introduces factories, power generation, ore processing, and mass manufacturing, alongside rail-based transport and further magic options; its mods include Railcraft, Immersive Engineering, Woot, and OpenComputers. The Tech Era expands farming, travel, power generation, and automation with mods such as Actually Additions, RFTools, Magneticraft, and Steve’s Factory Manager Reborn. The Industrial Era centers on accumulating materials and building powerful machines, reactors, armor, and tools, drawing on Advanced Generators, Ender IO, Industrial Craft, TechReborn, and related systems. The Silicon Era focuses on robotics, computer networks, quantum machinery, and draconic upgrades, including Applied Energistics 2 and Draconic Evolution, before opening access to the remaining Overworld content. The final Space Era uses Advanced Rocketry to take the adventure beyond the Overworld, with planetary exploration and expansion into space. Era progression is controlled by scripts that disable recipes, with advancement performed by removing the scripts for the era being completed; selected recipes remain available across otherwise locked mods, including decorative blocks and building options.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.10.2 · Forge, 16 Apr 2017). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 15 Mar 2017 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 110 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 110 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 55 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
55 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
