A horror modpack with frightening creatures and smoother performance.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 100 graded mods, 86 are graded A or B, 10 C and 4 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
TExperience: Horror + Performance is a horror-focused modpack for playing with friends, combining unsettling creatures with performance improvements and Vanilla+ quality-of-life features. Biomes O' Plenty and Dungeons & Taverns expand exploration with new biomes and structures across the Overworld, Nether, and End, giving world generation a refreshed look. Its threats include Dwellers such as The Man From The Fog and Cave Dwellers, as well as Herobrine, who appears three days after a world is created by default. Conveniences include double doors that open together, mouse tweaks, and zoom, while proximity voice chat supports communication with nearby players. Most mod settings can be customized through the in-game Mods menu; in LAN play, the host's settings are applied.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 22 Jan 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 102 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 93 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (22 Jan 2025) in the 88 mods we checked.
7 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
5 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
