A tech modpack for building bunkers and racing to make weapons.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 42 graded mods, 37 are graded A or B, 5 C and none D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
The Minehattan Project is a technology-focused modpack built around multiplayer cold-war competition and an escalating arms race. Players can build defensive bunkers, automate ore processing, and create shielding and storage systems before developing weapons such as lasers, rocket launchers, and powerful explosives through ICBM. Its featured mods include Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, IndustrialCraft 2, Industrial Foregoing, Extreme Reactors, Immersive Engineering, Modular Powersuits, Project Red, Tinker's Construct, Forestry, Biomes O' Plenty, and BiblioCraft. The pack also includes examples such as Lost Cities, Chisel and Carpenter's Blocks, and Atomic Science, with gallery showcases of Mekanism ore processing, cable setups, and a fusion reactor with a deuterium generator.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 26 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 30 Apr 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 43 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 43 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (26 Jul 2024) in the 43 mods we checked.
3 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
