Questing modpack with over 300 quests.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 97 graded mods, 35 are graded A or B, 19 C and 43 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Tosers Spacecraft is a quest-driven technical and space-exploration modpack, with more than 300 quests that provide tips and guide players through its progression. Players build increasingly capable machines and rockets, then travel to planets, moons, and asteroids to mine materials for higher-tier armor, weapons, tools, and machinery that are not available from the Overworld alone. The pack centers on Galacticraft, Extra Planets, Mekanism, NuclearCraft, and AbyssalCraft, and also sends players into the Betweenlands and AbyssalCraft dimensions to explore dangerous places and fight their inhabitants and bosses. Its questlines cover substantial engineering projects, including large NuclearCraft fission and molten-salt reactors, alongside the progression toward planetary travel. Completing questlines grants permanent extra hearts, and the overarching objective is to finish the quests and their endquest for its rewards and music. A custom resource pack adds more than 80 sound effects and music, including sounds that play when quests are completed. Recipes are adjusted to support relatively brisk progression without the unusually punishing crafting difficulty found in some modpacks.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 11 Jan 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 7 Mar 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 103 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 102 of its 103 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (11 Jan 2025) in the 58 mods we checked.
5 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
45 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
