A smoother, nicer-looking vanilla game for your server.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 55 graded mods, 54 are graded A or B, 1 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 5 days ago, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
VanillaSquad is a client-side modpack for players joining the VanillaSquad server, intended to make vanilla survival smoother and more comfortable without changing its core gameplay or adding ores, mobs, dimensions, or new systems. It includes client-side performance and stability optimizations, in-game voice chat through Plasmo Voice, shader support, and visual refinements, so players can keep the classic look or opt for a more atmospheric one. Convenience features include mod and graphics menus, zoom, Discord Rich Presence, stability fixes, and macOS input fixes, with the pack set up to avoid searching for and configuring mods individually. The server experience it is designed for centers on vanilla survival, player-built towns, trading, events, and building, with progress earned by players rather than claims, teleports, starter kits, or pay-to-win advantages.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 20 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 29 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 55 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 48 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 48 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 other mods show AI use only from after this release (20 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
