A collection of performance mods for smoother play on weaker devices.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 28 graded mods, 25 are graded A or B, 2 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 13 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
VulkanOptimized is an optimization-focused modpack intended to improve Minecraft performance, including on weaker computers and mobile devices running through PojavLauncher. Its Vulkan mod replaces Minecraft’s OpenGL renderer with one using the Vulkan API, while C2ME optimizes chunk processing, FerriteCore reduces memory use, and VMP is included to help when many players are on a server. Other included optimizations target game systems such as physics, mob AI, and block ticking with Lithium, avoid rendering entities or other content the player cannot see with EntityCulling and More Culling, and improve performance, memory use, and bug fixes with Modern Fix.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 6 Oct 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 28 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 28 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 28 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
