About
Better Dogs is a resource pack that transforms tamed wolves into realistic-looking dogs, offering 41 breeds and more than 130 textures. A newly tamed wolf takes on a random breed, while supported name tags let players choose a breed and give the dog a custom name. Breeds include familiar companions such as corgis, beagles, dachshunds, golden retrievers, huskies, and border collies, alongside less common examples like borzois, komondors, and Afghan hounds. The texture variations include different coat colors and poses, such as panting Samoyeds and black-and-tan, red-and-white, or white borzois; some details can also be customized, including the Afghan hound’s snood color with dyes. There are also playful variants, including an astronaut corgi that floats when obtained by taming or breeding a wolf above y=250.
