Bloop Shaders is a performance-oriented Minecraft shader designed to scale from low-end systems to more powerful PCs, with selectable profiles that balance visual quality and speed. Its rendering features include real-time shadows with simple or advanced filtering, floodfill lighting, simple or advanced ambient occlusion, volumetric light and mist, cloud and contact shadows, bloom, depth of field, custom tonemapping, and temporal anti-aliasing with anti-ghosting support for entities. It also offers LabPBR compatibility, parallax occlusion mapping, screen-space reflections for solid and translucent materials, support for vanilla and volumetric clouds, and compatibility with modded blocks. Distant Horizons support extends the shader’s lighting and shadows to distant terrain, while Physics Mod support provides another supported rendering integration. Optional visual effects include dynamically lit surroundings from held torches or glowstone, motion blur, pixelated effects, and enhanced underwater fog and water reflections.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 81 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons and Voxy.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
