    About

    Alloy Forgery adds a multiblock alloy smelter called the Alloy Forge, designed to process recipes and, by default, increase ore yields rather than introduce new materials. Each forge is a 10-slot machine, and its tier affects which recipes it can process; the default tiers also differ in fuel capacity and processing speed. Players can build forges from materials including stone bricks, bricks, polished blackstone, deepslate bricks, prismarine, and end stone bricks, using a controller made from the tier’s material and a multiblock structure shaped like a chimney. Vanilla fuels include coal, coal blocks, charcoal, blaze rods, and lava buckets, and hoppers can automate item transfer to the forge. The system is data-driven, allowing mod and modpack authors to define additional forge types, choose their materials, tiers, speed and fuel capacity, and add or customize recipes and fuels. Recipes can accept up to 10 shapeless inputs specified by item or tag, set fuel use and minimum forge tier, and adjust their outputs for different tiers; tagged outputs can prioritize materials from particular mods when available.
