Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 180 graded mods, 113 are graded A or B, 21 C and 46 D to F. Its last update came out 4.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Valhelsia: Enhanced Vanilla is a modpack that reshapes the familiar Minecraft experience around a more challenging, skill-based adventure, with custom art, visual improvements, resource packs, and Complementary Shaders enabled by default. You begin with three hearts and three skill points, and gain further points by earning experience and levelling skills such as Health, Defense, Mining, Farming, and Strength. Skills gate familiar activities and equipment: early on you are limited to wooden tools, while investing in Mining unlocks stone mining and stone tools, and other skills open up additional abilities, weapons, armor, and tools. The progression system also unlocks access to technologies and magic from the pack’s mods, giving players new goals as they develop their characters. Combat is tuned to make the start hazardous, and monsters become tougher as you venture farther from spawn. The included shader pack has five profiles, letting you choose settings that favor performance, visual quality, or a balance between them.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Fabric, 11 Sep 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
8 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 10 Sep 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 191 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 181 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 135 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
46 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
