Add your custom soundtracks to Minecraft with some extra features.

Ambience Extras lets players add their own music and soundtracks to Minecraft and configure when they play, including in response to events such as combat, advancements, riding, potion effects, dimensions, and entering structures or custom regions. Players can define music for named regions, create those regions in-world with the Soundnizer tool, and use nested subregions to give smaller areas priority over their parent region. A Song Switcher block uses the region’s redstone signal strength to select among as many as 15 configured tracks, enabling music to change as a machine or minigame state changes. Speaker blocks play user-provided resource-pack sounds when powered by redstone, with settings for sound, delay, audible distance, and looping; the Alarm provides similar playback and also flashes when active. The mod also includes a chest-found Ocarina with seven songs, including ones that change the weather, call a distant horse, grant water breathing, or provide night vision, and a Horn that pushes nearby enemies while granting nearby players speed and resistance. Custom images can appear as cinematic transitions when players enter a configured region or supported structure.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.5.
Adds 29 blocks, 3 items, 17 recipes, 6 loot tables and 16 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
