About
Auto Leveling makes hostile encounters scale with distance from spawn, assigning mobs levels that can increase as players travel farther away. Mob levels appear above their names, with options to show them only when targeted or keep them visible, and settings can hide levels for selected entities. Configurable rules let you set starting and maximum levels, growth by distance or depth, random level bonuses, and per-level attribute bonuses; you can also restrict leveling with entity whitelists and blacklists. Higher-level mobs can drop more experience, while custom loot and equipment require data packs; the mod does not change either by default. Resource packs can provide level-based mob textures, and data packs can customize leveling settings by dimension or entity type. Blacklist and whitelist tools add entities to their respective lists when used on them, and the mod also provides a command to grant entities a level bonus across dimensions. With Jade installed, hovering over a mob can show its level in a tooltip.
