    About

    Basic Weapons expands Minecraft’s vanilla-style melee combat with six tiered weapon types across vanilla tool materials: daggers, clubs, hammers, pikes, quarterstaves and glaives. The weapons offer different trade-offs in damage, attack speed, reach, crafting cost and effects: daggers strike quickly, clubs slow targets, hammers fling them upward, and quarterstaves and glaives can sweep across groups. When Better Combat is installed, the weapons are balanced around its combos and multi-target attacks; quarterstaves gain attack combos, daggers and clubs can be dual-wielded with other weapons, and hammers use a custom attack animation. An extensible material-pack system lets players add weapons made from materials supplied by other mods, with packs creatable using the Material Pack Creator; Bronze compatibility also adds bronze and tin weapons when both mods are installed.
