About
The Last Survivor is a post-apocalyptic zombie survival modpack about scavenging for supplies and defending yourself in a world where the undead grow more dangerous over time. Explore ruined cities, hidden bunkers, and dangerous zones for resources, while smarter zombies hunt in hordes and react to sound. Survival involves managing thirst, hunger, temperature, stamina, and infection, then fortifying a hideout with defenses and traps against nightly assaults. The pack combines Tough As Nails, Zombie Awareness, Lost Cities, SecurityCraft, and MineColonies, with TacZ adding realistic firearms and tactical combat. A haunting soundtrack, realistic visuals, and dynamic weather contribute to the atmosphere, and the pack can be played solo or with friends.

No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 281 of its 283 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.

6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 272 of its 274 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
How we checked
- Go online onlyTheir code contacts a web address, for example to check for updates. We found nothing it sends about you.25 modsBookshelfCollectivePlaceboMoonlight LibXaero's World Map

AI
AI used in 6 of the 234 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
13 other mods show AI use only from after this release (14 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
40 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
How we checked
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when a substantial part of the code is AI output, when an asset is mainly AI output, or when the project or its page relies on generative AI.Not on Modrinth.

- Images in its filesHidden data in the images of the files you download, where AI image tools write their name and settings. Not read yet
