Better With Addons is a companion to Better With Mods that recreates and updates ideas from older Better Than Wolves addons, alongside original content, so those concepts can be played in newer Minecraft versions. Its additions span farming and food changes, renewable materials, decorative and architectural content, trees, weapons, redstone, and item-processing machinery, with named inspirations including BTWTweak, the Deco Addons, Better With Wheat, Better With Renewables, Japanese Weapons and Architecture, Ecksie Trees, and Factorization. Some modules are disabled by default because they substantially change the Better With Mods experience; Better With Wheat, for example, makes harvested wheat require threshing before it can be replanted or milled, uses grain for flour and chaff for haybales, and makes effective harvesting of potatoes, beetroots, and carrots consume hoe durability. Better With Renewables is intended to make otherwise unobtainable materials obtainable in skyblock play, while the Rotting Food module makes food spoil after a set number of days, with no preservation method currently described. The project also adds unusual nature and combat features, such as Alicio Trees whose blood-red sap can attract animals when their faces are fed, and thorny vines that grow around structures, damage mobs and players, and yield Midori. For item handling and processing, the Chute distributes items through multiple bottom openings and can use mechanical input to alter that distribution, while other documented machinery includes soaking and drying units, nets, a spindle, and an Ancestral Infuser with crafting and item-transmutation recipes. In multiplayer, Worldscales let players claim chunks using a banner-topped centerpiece and extend protection across a flat area; claimed blocks become harder to break, and wearing a copy of the centerpiece banner on one's head bypasses that effect. Other smaller additions include a Banner Detector that senses nearby banners, a Bannerman feature for wearing a placed banner on one's head, and a chopping-block interaction that splashes blood and grants a brief strength boost when a mob is struck on the block.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds 68 blocks, 84 items, 1 mob and 149 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
