Harvest animals for meat using knives, hooks, and butcher tools.
62.2 of the 71 points that apply = 88 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Butchery adds a hands-on carcass-harvesting and processing system, letting players use a cleaver or butcher’s knife to obtain carcasses from mobs instead of relying only on ordinary kills. Players can hang carcasses from hooks to drain blood, skin them on racks and cure the hides with moisture and salt to make leather, then cut them up on a butchers table for different meat cuts. Further processing includes cooking pig carcasses on a spit rotisserie over a campfire, grinding beef or lamb into mince, filling sausages with intestines, and using hammers to break turtle shells. The mod supports a broad range of vanilla creatures and bosses, including cows, pigs, sheep, turtles, axolotls, creepers, Endermen, the Ender Dragon, the Wither and the Warden. Its equipment and blocks include skinning knives, hooks, blood grates, basins, meat grinders, freezers, pestle and mortars, taxidermy stations, spike traps and food displays, alongside decorative pieces such as head mounts, jars and fish barrels. Configurable options can adjust processing and yields, allow other weapons to produce carcasses, and substitute Farmer’s Delight or vanilla foods for the mod’s meat outputs. Compatibility is listed for Farmer’s Delight, Vampirism, Blood Magic and Hexerei, and an Alex’s Mobs addon is also available.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 455 blocks, 327 items, 2 mobs, 1 structure, 2 enchantments, 2 paintings, 390 recipes, 27 advancements, 2 loot tables, 12 sounds and 3 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
