Creates elite mobs of different rarities, with enhanced stats and extra abilities.
39.9 of the 64 points that apply = 62 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Champions adds randomly ranked elite versions of hostile mobs, with higher ranks growing progressively rarer and granting stronger stats, more abilities, and better loot. Their rank-specific colored particles and on-screen health bars make champions visible, while labels beneath the bars identify their affixes and help players judge each opponent’s threats. Affixes give champions distinct combat behaviors: Arctic and Enkindling fire homing projectiles that slow or burn, Infested summons silverfish, Magnetic pulls targets closer, and Shielding periodically blocks all damage; others include regeneration, damage reflection, poison, and healing-reducing wounds. Configuration lets players adjust rank colors, spawn chances, stat growth, and affix counts, add new ranks, and tune which dimensions, entities, ranks, or affixes are eligible. Champions also supports Game Stages, allowing champion spawns and rank tiers to be gated by player progression.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
Adds 1 item: Champion Egg; 1 advancement and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
