    About

    Deeper Depths brings Trial Chambers and related trial content to Minecraft 1.12.2, with randomized rooms, custom chamber variants, and smaller encounters that can appear along the routes between chambers. Find the chambers by locating a copper windmill on the surface and breaking through its oxidized entrance; inside, explore hallways where pots and chests can hold loot. Trial Spawners periodically release mobs and dispense an item when their challenge is complete, while Trial and Ominous Keys open loot-bearing Vaults and Ominous Vaults. Ominous Bottles turn trial spawners into harder ominous encounters, and the Breeze attacks with wind charges that knock players back and activate redstone contraptions. The mod also adds the Bogged, a poison-arrow skeleton found in chambers or swamps, and the mace, whose damage increases with fall height, alongside Wind Burst, Density, and Breach enchantments. Beyond the chambers, copper ore generates in the world, copper blocks oxidize unless waxed, and amethyst geodes form naturally and contain budding amethyst that grows clusters over time. Additional additions include copper tools and armor, copper bulbs, torches, lanterns, bars, chains, lightning rods and side-by-side chests, as well as tuff, deepslate, tinted glass, candles, wind charges, and several potions with effects such as spawning slimes, silverfish, cobwebs, or wind charges. Configuration options cover spawners and vaults, block and entity attributes, ore generation, and the distance between Trial Chambers.
