About
Dungeon Mobs Reborn is a combat-focused mod that adds challenging hostile creatures, each with distinctive abilities and AI, rather than new items, blocks, or pets. Its roster includes Thoqquas, manticores, cockatrices, Lizalfos, rakshasas, hellhounds, illithids, destrachans, cave fishers, trolls, hook horrors, beholders, umber hulks, shriekers, ghouls, rust monsters, revenants, vampires, fallen angels, and Outer Things. Their threats call for different responses: beholders fire rays that inflict harmful effects, cockatrices can petrify players, and illithids slow victims while attempting to seize control of their animal companions. Other encounters reshape the battlefield or exploit surroundings: thoqquas burrow through stone and leave heat-radiating magma rock, shriekers summon groups of hostile mobs when disturbed, and rust monsters attack players carrying metal while damaging iron and gold gear. The mod can also add its mobs to Doomlike Dungeons automatically, with that integration able to be disabled in either mod.
