Dungeon Train is a roguelite dungeon-crawling adventure about riding an endless train through a world with no conventional outside, exploring its procedurally generated carriages, fighting increasingly difficult enemies, and collecting loot. The moving train is built from carriages that act as their own walkable spaces, and new cars are added ahead as you travel. The journey moves through a range of strange settings, from green fields, forests, deserts, and dark depths to fire, voids, and a Kingdom of Candy; the story unfolds through lore, characters, and echoes of past riders. Carriage encounters and rewards are designed to vary: loot and characters differ between runs, and the train’s themes and story emerge alongside its escalating challenges. Players can also encounter books written and signed by other players as chest loot; the relay shares moderated books, with selections tailored to each player’s language and reading history. A built-in editor lets players create train content by building and saving carriage interiors, parts, tracks, pillars, and tunnels as templates for the train to use, then export their libraries as packages to share. For authored carriages, block positions can draw from variant pools and containers can roll weighted item pools when a carriage spawns, making repeated templates produce different details and loot. The mod includes custom advancement tabs for adventure milestones such as riding, exploring, finding chests, reading books, and befriending or killing passengers, plus a separate set that guides players through the editor.

No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
The author declares on Modrinth that this mod interacts with your system outside the game.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
The author declares on Modrinth that it sends crash reports or usage data unless you turn this off.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
