    About

    Vista adds working televisions and viewfinders for remotely watching locations in a Minecraft world, with redstone-powered TVs that can be joined into large screens and paused during playback. Bind a hollow cassette to a viewfinder to show its live feed on a TV; viewfinders can be aimed and zoomed, their range can be adjusted with redstone, and a glass pane can tint the transmitted image. Regular cassettes play looping animated clips, while picture tapes hold up to 32 images for slideshows and accept filled maps, paintings, and compatible photographs or painted canvases. The mod also adds mirrors that reflect the world with configurable depth and quality, and a Wave Gate that can play media from a URL or local file on a linked TV. Supplementaries can add mob-head shaders and turntable control, while ComputerCraft can control viewfinders and Wave Gates; Create contraptions can carry broadcasting viewfinders on NeoForge. Looking at an enderman through a TV can anger it, and defeating one in that state can yield the Sojourn music disc.
