About
Fast Paintings improves painting performance by representing paintings as blocks with baked models instead of rendering and ticking them as entities, reducing both rendering and entity-ticking lag. It also lets resource packs customize painting models with JSON, including adding details such as wooden frames, while the supplied model fixes a vanilla edge-texture issue. The block-based paintings can show particles and ambient occlusion, respond more immediately when their supporting block is broken, and remain pass-through rather than obstructing movement.
