About
Dynamic Trees Plus extends Dynamic Trees with dynamic, growing versions of non-tree plants, adding cacti and huge mushrooms to the world. Its four cactus species appear across desert and badlands biomes: pillar and pipe cacti add variety to deserts, while saguaro cacti populate badlands. Cacti slow and prick players moving against them, but no longer destroy items on contact by default; these behaviors can be changed in the configuration. Saguaro cacti produce edible fruit that can be harvested when it opens. Red and brown huge mushrooms grow and fall like Dynamic Trees, with mega forms spawning naturally in mushroom fields; dark forests also get smaller populations of both kinds. A silk-touch axe yields mushroom and stem blocks from huge mushrooms, while other harvesting yields mushroom items, and occasional spore particles appear beneath them. Cacti can be planted and spread using their seeds, while mushroom caps serve as the planting and propagation items.
