About
Ears expands player-skin customization by letting you draw features such as ears, snouts, tails, horns, antlers, ahoge, and wings directly into designated skin regions. The additions have a mostly vanilla-faithful look, combining 2D regions with some 3D elements, and the tail sways backward slightly while walking to reduce clipping into the legs. Because the features are encoded in the skin itself, players customize them by editing their skin rather than choosing from built-in recolorable models; a live-preview Skin Manipulator helps inspect and configure skin regions. Ears also provides lightweight skin fixes and backports for older game versions, including support for translucent secondary skin layers on versions 1.7 and 1.8.
