About
Edible Bugs adds edible insects to common block drops, so digging dirt, grass, or sand and cutting down trees can yield bugs to eat. In savannas, termite mounds provide termites, termite larvae, and termite clay; larvae can be used on dirt to grow new mounds. A redstone-powered Termite Zapper can automatically farm mounds when supplied with dirt and larvae, harvesting and replanting them once they reach three blocks tall. The mod also adds a fryer: vegetable oil, made from any Minecraft seed, lets you cook bugs for better food, and the fryer can turn termite clay into Termite Brick. Termite clay can also be baked into ordinary Minecraft bricks or crafted into a Minecraft clay block, while Termite Brick can be crafted into its own brick block. The termite materials include clay, bricks, and brick blocks with stairs and slabs.
