About
Emendatus Enigmatica is a data-driven toolkit for modpack makers to define materials and unify the items, blocks, and ores supplied by different mods; it is designed to be configured rather than provide a finished set of materials on its own. Material definitions can specify processed forms such as ingots, dust, plates, gears, tools, armor, and fluids, while the mod generates registered content, basic recipes, tags, and either color-tinted textures or textures supplied through a resource pack. Authors can configure material behaviors including fuel use, glowing ores, and storage blocks that oxidize through four stages and can be scraped clean or waxed like copper. Custom strata define the stone or other block types that host material ores, and deposit settings control where and how those ores generate, including in selected dimensions and biomes. Five deposit styles are available: vanilla-like, sphere, geode, dense, and dike; sphere deposits can mix weighted blocks and optionally create surface samples. JSON-based compatibility recipes can connect materials to Thermal machines such as pulverizers and induction smelters, and to Create crushing wheels and fan washing, with configurable inputs and additional outputs. The project also provides texture resources for a broad set of materials, including familiar ores and gems such as copper, iron, diamond, redstone, and lapis lazuli, alongside metals and alloys such as aluminum, silver, brass, and steel.
