Dimensional Ascension is a guided adventure modpack built around more than 400 handwritten quests and semi-linear progression through 10 dimensions, with the goal of defeating a final boss. Its journey spans realms such as the Undergarden, Nether and Aether, with more than 15 bosses guarding rare treasures and access to new realms. Exploration is reshaped by world generation overhauls including Terralith, Amplified Nether and Nullscape, alongside reworked structures such as strongholds and fortresses. Players can pursue magic through Botania, Ars Nouveau, Occultism and Hexerei, or combine magical arts with Create. Tetra and Apotheosis let players customize weapons and tools with different heads, materials and enchantments, while gear grows in power over the course of the adventure. The pack also features tuned loot and balance, a challenging final-boss encounter, and supported proximity voice chat.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 15 Dec 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 164 of its 165 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 146 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
19 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
