Etcetera is a miscellaneous mod that adds vanilla-inspired blocks, items, creatures, equipment, and utilities designed to fit into ordinary Minecraft play. Its decorative additions include Nether bismuth ore and polished bismuth blocks that shift color over time, plus iridescent versions of glass, terracotta, concrete, wool, and lanterns that can be made with bismuth ingots. Building and furnishing tools include a chisel for carving blocks or removing iridescence, a wrench for changing placed block states, a frame that can be replaced in place, aligned flower vases, bouquets, item stands, and lamps and bulbs with adjustable or water-enhanced lighting. Utility and redstone features range from random-signal dice, a surface-sensitive drum, an item-disposal can, and a dream catcher that helps nearby players sleep at night and grants effects at dawn, to water-resistant wiring and waterloggable redstone components for underwater circuits. A copper tap can dispense several fluids or slowly collect rubber from a log into a cauldron; rubber can also be made into waterloggable buttons, and shoveling sand, red sand, snow, or gravel creates custom paths. The added creatures include apple-laying Chapples that can become Golden Chapples, a night-spawning Weaver that traps players with cobwebs, a rechargeable Golden Golem companion that protects and heals its owner, and a squeaking Rubber Chicken decoration. Equipment and apparel include a conduit-powered Tidal Helmet, web-climbing Silken Slacks, footprint-leaving Adventurer's Boots, a dyeable and banner-decorated Turtle Raft, and colorful cotton sweaters and hats that provide no armor but do not wear out. Other small additions include a handbell that recalls pets and following Allays, customizable item labels, and the Squall music disc, found as rare loot in Big Underwater Ruins.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
