Uncharted Expeditions is an exploration- and problem-solving-focused expert-lite modpack built around a custom-crafted adventure, with more than 250 quests guiding progression. The pack customizes recipes, loot tables, dimensions, and structures, adding hundreds of custom recipes and dungeons and structures with tailored loot. Exploration and combat are tied to resource gathering, with adventures ranging from drilling for oil among dinosaurs to trading with underwater civilizations and summoning demons using milkshakes. Portal discovery and activation form part of progression, with quests reflecting portal requirements and helping players advance through the pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 24 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 27 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 330 of its 350 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 323 of its 330 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 20 of the 289 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
41 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
