Etched expands Minecraft’s music system, letting players make custom records and play music through new devices and a village bard. At the Etching Table, combine a blank music disc with a customizable label and a link to an MP3, WAV or OGG file, a SoundCloud or Bandcamp song, or a Minecraft sound event; labels can be personalized with text, dye colors and patterns. Play records in an Album Jukebox that holds up to nine discs and loops them in sequence, or take music along the rails in a Jukebox Minecart, which accepts records through hoppers and can restart a finished song at an activator rail. A Radio adds another way to listen, while hoppers can also load records into jukeboxes. The Bard is a villager profession with musical trades, including blank music discs, which can also be made by smelting a regular music disc.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 3 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Its files for older Minecraft versions (1.16.5) also send your player name and your player ID.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
