About
Fabric Seasons adds four configurable seasons to Minecraft, each normally lasting 28 in-game days and determined by world time. As seasons change, biome temperatures alter weather and freezing: temperate areas can get winter snow, cold biomes can see summer rain, and hot biomes can have rainy winters, while tropical biomes remain comparatively steady. The server component also changes crop growth rates by season, with each crop’s seasonal rates configurable through datapacks. On the client, seasonal biome colormaps provide visual changes, while server-side behavior can melt or apply snow and freezing within simulation distance.
