Food spoils over time, but containers can keep it fresh.

Food Funk adds configurable food spoilage, making items rot after a set time into another item or disappear, with defaults that cover vanilla foods and foods from other mods. Meat such as pork, beef, chicken, and fish can become rotten flesh, milk can spoil, and other edible items can turn into rotten food; freshness tooltips show an item's age and progress toward rotting. The Esky slows spoilage while the Freezer stops it, and the mod can be configured to add other preserving containers, including supported containers from Cooking for Blockheads and MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod. Rotten food can also be composted into plant nutrients using the Composter mod. Configuration lets players set which items rot, their decay times and resulting items, and how strongly containers and dimensions affect spoilage, including faster rot in the Nether.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
Adds 4 blocks, 4 items, 3 recipes, 2 advancements and 8 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
